such as Maryland Thermoform Corporation. NAM has recently
championed in the following areas important to all American

Maryland
Thermoform Corporation is an ISO 9001:2000 registered company
since January 2003. Our certificate number is 03.008.3 and
we undergo regular periodic quality system compliance audits
by our Registrar, Smithers Quality Assessments, Inc.
Maryland Thermoform Corporation’s continued compliance
with the requirements of the ISO standard ensure that controls
are placed at every level of the organization. From first
contact and product conception through product development,
production and delivery, each task is carried out by competent
personnel committed to total quality of product and service.
One of the major components of the ISO 9001:2000 International
Standard is continual improvement of the quality management
system. Delivering the highest quality product and service
today is crucial, but we do not believe that that is good

Thermoform‘s Quality Policy states that we are “committed
to providing superior quality, value and service to our
customers in the design, development, manufacturing and
delivery of plastic packaging and products.” In order
to live up to our policy, we must constantly be on the lookout
for smarter, faster and more efficient machinery.
Our
new Model 67 Thermwood CNC router is one such machine!
The advantages of the new machine have so far been proven
threefold. It has more advanced design and functional capabilities
than our old machine, so that it not only makes it easier
for us to program and create your packaging, but we can
offer more possibilities as to how far the imagination can
take us with your design needs. Secondly, this machine also
has two moving tables and cutting head as opposed to the
old machine with one fixed table and a moving cutting head.
This allows us to make more items at once or even work on
two jobs simultaneously. And third, the cutting head moves
faster than the old machine, so we can deliver you product
faster. |
Maryland Thermoform Joins Forces with RMI
and WTCI...

In
April of 2003, after many years in a mutually beneficial relationship
with the Regional Manufacturing Institute (RMI), Maryland
Thermoform Corporation has also joined the World Trade Center
Institute (WTCI). We are the first company to have joint membership
in these two organizations that are a great support to manufacturing
in not only Maryland, but the greater United States.

Maryland Thermoform Receives ISO Registration...

After
a long and hard road traveled, Maryland Thermoform Corporation
reached its goal. On January 8, 2003 we received our certification
for ISO 9001: 2000 registered with Design. Click

ISO,
The International Organization for Standardization, provides
standards as a framework for quality management throughout
the process of development, manufacturing and supply of
products and services to the customer in a clean, safe and
efficient manner. It also acts as a safeguard to the customer,
in that there is a higher level of commitment and therefore
a greater consistency of services provided.
We at Maryland Thermoform, with the addition of the ISO
standards, will continue to provide a high level of commitment
and service to all of our customers.
